Charleston, SC (Sports Network) - The Carrier Classic between the fourth- ranked Ohio State Buckeyes and the Marquette Golden Eagles has been canceled due to persistent condensation on the court.

Friday's game was to have been played on the deck of the USS Yorktown and was the season-opening contest for both teams.

The game is not expected to be rescheduled for later in the season.
