Recap: TCU vs. Baylor

Fort Worth, TX (Sports Network) - Pierre Jackson finished with 20 points and five assists as the Baylor Bears completed an 82-56 rout of the TCU Horned Frogs in Big 12 Conference action at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Isaiah Austin contributed 18 points, Gary Franklin scored 12 points, and Rico Gathers registered a double-double of 15 points and 10 boards for Baylor (14-5, 5-1 Big 12), which has now won three in a row.

Arick McKinney paced the Horned Frogs (9-11, 0-7) with 15 points and eight rebounds. Connell Crossland tallied 12 points and Nate Butler Lind added 10 points.

Baylor scored the first seven points of the contest and went on to build a 43-26 lead at the intermission. The Bears hit 50.0 percent of their field goal attempts, including 5-of-9 from distance, while limiting TCU to 29.0 percent shooting in the opening 20 minutes.

TCU saw its deficit grow by nine points after the break, as it went 0-of-3 from beyond the arc in the second half to remain winless in conference games for the season.

The Bears enjoyed a 40-30 advantage in the rebounding battle and assisted 19 of their 27 makes from the field in the contest.

With the decision, Baylor completed the season sweep of the Horned Frogs as it also defeated TCU, 51-40, on Jan. 12 at home.
