Ames, IA (Sports Network) - Will Clyburn netted 28 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Iowa State Cyclones to a 79-71 victory over the Baylor Bears in a Big 12 clash at Hilton Coliseum.

Georges Niang added 17 points for Iowa State (15-6, 5-3 Big 12) while Tyrus McGee chipped in 10 off the bench as the Cyclones remained undefeated at home this season.

Pierre Jackson paced the Bears (14-7, 5-3) with 23 points and six assists while A.J. Walton had 13 points on 5-of-12 from the floor. Isaiah Austin nearly had a double-double, finishing with nine points and 10 boards.

The Cyclones shot 0-of-10 from long range in the first half while Baylor hit 5-of-11 attempts. However, ISU held a 20-16 rebounding edge and made 9-of-12 at the foul line, giving the hosts a 31-30 advantage at the break.

ISU led for the majority of the second half thanks to Clyburn, whose triple with 8:33 left gave the Cyclones a four-point edge which they would not surrender.

ISU improved to 14-9 all-time against the Bears.
