Recap: Iowa State vs. Nebraska Omaha

Ames, IA (Sports Network) - Georges Niang paced six teammates in double figures with 15 points as the Iowa State Cyclones blew past the Nebraska Omaha Mavericks, 93-65, in non-conference action at Hilton Coliseum.

Will Clyburn, Tyrus McGee, and Anthony Booker each scored 11 points for Iowa State (7-3), which has won three of its past four contests. Chris Babb and Percy Gibson both had 10 points, and Melvin Ejim grabbed 13 rebounds.

For Omaha (2-9), John Karhoff put up 13 points, Marcus Tyus had 12 points, and Alex Phillips tallied 11 points.

Iowa State started the game on an 18-2 run and it eventually took a commanding 52-28 lead at the half.

After shooting just 38.5 percent from the floor in the first half, the Mavericks improved to 51.9 percent after intermission, but it wasn't enough as Iowa State cruised to victory.

The Cyclones dominated on the glass, outrebounding the Mavericks 45-24. They also committed a season-low six turnovers.
