Recap: TCU vs. Iowa State

Fort Worth, TX (Sports Network) - Tyrus McGee scored 16 points off the bench to lead the Iowa State Cyclones to a 63-50 victory over the TCU Horned Frogs in Big 12 play at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Will Clyburn netted 12 points for ISU (13-4, 3-1 Big 12) while Melvin Ejim went for 10 points and 12 boards for his 12th double-double of the season. Georges Niang also scored 10 points as the Cyclones won their third straight game.

Devonta Abron, Garlon Green and Charles Hill Jr. all scored 10 points to pace TCU (9-9, 0-5) while leading scorer Kyan Anderson scored just two points on 1- of-3 shooting.

Iowa State was dominant on the glass in the opening period, outrebounding TCU 20-11. The Horned Frogs failed to make an outside shot as they trailed at the break, 36-26.

The Horned Frogs were unable to get into a rhythm offensively in the second half as they shot just 37.5 percent.

The Cyclones won in large part to their dominance inside as they outscored TCU in the paint, 40-26 while shooting an even 50 percent overall.
