Recap: Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma

Lubbock, TX (Sports Network) - Steven Pledger netted 22 points and Romero Osby contributed 21 points as the Oklahoma Sooners completed an 86-71 rout of the Texas Tech Red Raiders in a Big 12 Conference matchup at United Spirit Arena.

Osby also pulled down nine boards for Oklahoma (17-8, 8-5 Big 12), which has now won three of its last four games. Amath M'Baye posted a double-double with 15 points and 13 boards, Sam Grooms tallied 12 points and Cameron Clark chipped in 10 points off the bench.

Josh Gray pumped in a game-high 26 points for TTU (9-15, 2-11) as it lost for the seventh game in a row. Jaye Crockett scored 15 points, Jordan Tolbert had 10 and they both collected nine boards.

The Sooners took a 44-36 lead into halftime after they connected on 59.3 percent of their field goal attempts including 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. TTU was limited to 42.9 percent efficiency from the floor before the break.

The Red Raiders cooled off to hit on only 40 percent of their shots from the field in the second stanza. Oklahoma outscored the hosts, 17-10, in bench points in the final 20 minutes to extend its lead before the final buzzer.

The Sooners enjoyed a 39-29 edge in the rebounding battle and assisted 17 of their 32 made field goal attempts. TTU dealt out six assists to 10 turnovers.
