Recap: Oklahoma State vs. TCU

Stillwater, OK (Sports Network) - Markel Brown and Marcus Smart each scored 14 points as the Oklahoma State Cowboys made easy work of the TCU Horned Frogs, 63-45, in a Big 12 Conference showdown at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Le'Bryan Nash tallied 13 points and six rebounds for Oklahoma State (11-3, 1-1 Big 12), while Philip Jurick grabbed 10 boards. The Cowboys shot 52.1 percent from the field and snapped a two-game losing skid.

Garlon Green scored a game-high 20 points for TCU (9-6, 0-2), which has dropped two in a row. Kyan Anderson had 10 points, but the rest of the Horned Frogs combined for just 15 points.

Oklahoma State shot a lofty 61.9 percent in the first half and got out to a 36-22 lead at intermission.

The Cowboys never trailed by less than 13 after the break.

Oklahoma State dominated the rebounding battle, 40-17, and although it committed 24 turnovers, it also forced TCU into 21 giveaways.
