Recap: West Virginia vs. TCU

Morgantown, WV (Sports Network) - Eron Harris scored 19 points for the West Virginia Mountaineers who earned a 71-50 win over the TCU Horned Frogs in a Big 12 showdown at WVU Coliseum.

Harris was 5-of-6 from the field for West Virginia (9-9, 2-3 Big 12), which ended a three-game losing streak. Deniz Kilici added 11 points and eight rebounds while Jabarie Hinds managed 10 points.

Kyan Anderson scored 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting for TCU (9-10, 0-6), which has now lost six games in a row. Connell Crossland contributed 11 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks while Adrick McKinney had 10 points, five rebounds, and two blocks.

WVU led 35-22 at the break after holding TCU to just 29.2 percent shooting from the field in the first half.

In the second half the Mountaineers made good on 4-of-7 3-point attempts to outscore the Horned Frogs 36-28.

West Virginia earned a 42-30 rebounding edge in the game and scored 16 second- chance points from 19 offensive rebounds while TCU scored just four second- chance points off eight offensive rebounds.
