Recap: California vs. Washington

Berkeley, CA (Sports Network) - C.J. Wilcox tallied 19 points, eight rebounds, and four assists as the Washington Huskies dismissed the California Golden Bears, 62-47, in Pac-12 action at Haas Pavilion.

Aziz N'Diaye recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds for Washington (10-5, 2-0 Pac-12), which has won six of seven. N'Diaye also blocked four shots, and Andrew Andrews chipped in 12 points from off the bench.

For Cal (9-6, 1-2), David Kravish was the lone player to score in double figures with 14 points. Allen Crabbe logged nine points, eight boards, and four assists for the Bears, who have lost three of four.

Neither team shot well in the first half, with Washington making good on 37.5 percent of its field goal attempts and Cal shooting just 36.4 percent, but the Huskies were able to take a 34-20 lead at intermission by attempting 18 more shots than the Bears.

Washington's struggles from the field continued in the second half (.357), but it lead by double-digits throughout.

The Huskies earned a lopsided advantage in field goal attempts (68-53) by winning the rebounding battle, 48-33, and by turning the ball over just six times.
