Boulder, CO (Sports Network) - Askia Booker led four Buffaloes in double- figures with 20 points as Colorado held off the California Bears for an 81-71 victory in a Pac-12 Conference clash at Coors Events Center.

Xavier Johnson registered his first career double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds for Colorado (14-6, 4-4 Pac-12), while Spencer Dinwiddie converted 9- of-10 at the charity stripe en route to 16 points. Andre Roberson provided 15 points to help the Buffaloes to their third consecutive win.

Justin Cobbs and Allen Crabbe scored 22 and 21 points, respectively, for California (11-8, 3-4) as it suffered its second setback in three games. Cobbs also dealt out six assists while Robert Thurman posted eight points and seven boards off the bench.

Booker went 5-of-9 from the floor to tally 13 points and Johnson tallied 10 points and eight rebounds in the first stanza as Colorado shot 50 percent from the field to take a 34-18 lead into the intermission. Cobbs and Crabbe combined to go 4-of-17 from the floor as the Golden Bears made just 20.6 percent of their field goal attempts in the opening 20 minutes.

California heated up to drain 60.5 percent of its attempts from the floor after halftime, but the Buffaloes connected on 15-of-21 attempts from the field and 14-of-15 at the charity stripe to stay in front by a double-digit margin for the majority of the second half.

Colorado managed to coast to the decision despite committing 20 turnovers, which the Golden Bears converted into 22 points.
