Recap: Tulane vs. Marshall

New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Josh Davis collected 23 points and 12 rebounds in leading the Tulane Green Wave to a 91-75 victory over the Marshall Thundering Herd in Conference USA action at Devlin Fieldhouse.

Ricky Tarrant had 19 points and nine assists, Kendall Timmons added 16 points and Jordan Callahan chipped in 12 points off the bench for Tulane (15-8, 3-5 C-USA) which had lost three of its previous four games.

Elijah Pittman had 23 points, Dennis Tinnon finished with a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds and DeAndre Kane had a double-double of his own with 14 points and 11 assists for Marshall (10-13, 3-5) which has lost four of its last five.

In the first half Tulane shot at a 50 percent clip, hit 8-of-16 shots from beyond the arc and knocked down 17-of-26 attempts from the free-throw line to get out to a 59-35 lead at the break.

Marshall shot at a 50 percent rate in the second half while the Green Wave cooled to 42.9 percent but it was not nearly enough.

Tulane forced a game-high 16 turnovers from Marshall and scored 21 points off those takeaways.
