Recap: Tulane vs. Wofford

New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Josh Davis registered a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds as he helped guide the Tulane Green Wave to a 62-48 win over the Wofford Terriers in non-conference action at Devlin Fieldhouse.

Ricky Tarrant also scored 15 points for the Green Wave (12-3) as the team posted a fifth straight win. Kendall Timmons tacked on 11 points as well.

The Terriers (6-8) were paced by Karl Cochran with 16 points, although he shot just 6-of-20 from the floor in the team's second straight defeat. Lee Skinner registered a double-double for the visitors with 14 points and 11 boards.

Tulane shot a mere 7-of-22 (.318) from the floor in the first half, but thanks to an 11-of-12 effort at the free-throw line in the period the hosts were able to knot the score at 27-27 after 20 minutes of action.

In the second half it was Wofford that struggled mightily from the field (7- of-26) as it ended up on the short end of the 14-point decision.

In addition to shooting only 35.4 percent from the floor and 5-of-19 beyond the arc for the night, the Terriers also turned the ball over 19 times.
