Recap: Tulane vs. UCF

New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) - Led by 20 points from Isaiah Sykes, the UCF Knights held off the Tulane Green Wave, 58-50, in a Conference USA showdown at Devlin Fieldhouse.

Sykes also added nine rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and three steals for UCF (15-5, 5-1 C-USA), which has won four straight games. Kasey Wilson netted 12 points off the bench, while Keith Clanton tallied eight points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks for the visitors.

For Tulane (14-7, 2-4), Josh Davis recorded 18 points, nine boards, and six blocks in the losing effort, while Ricky Tarrant scored 10 points.

Tulane took a 28-21 lead at intermission behind 41.4 percent shooting in the first half. UCF shot a woeful 6-of-24 (.250) in the opening 20 minutes.

The tables were turned after the break, with UCF making 42.4 percent of its field goal attempts and Tulane dipping to 28 percent shooting. The Knights used a 17-5 run late in the second half to pull away.

UCF scored 26 points off of 19 Tulane turnovers.
