Recap: Washington vs. USC

Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Scott Suggs netted 18 points as the Washington Huskies held off the USC Trojans for a 65-57 victory in a Pac-12 Conference tilt at Alaska Airlines Arena.

Jernard Jarreau added 12 points for Washington (17-13, 9-8 Pac-12) as it collected its third win in a row. C.J. Wilcox contributed 11 points and eight boards while Aziz N'Diaye corralled 11 rebounds.

Dewayne Dedmon paced the Trojans (14-16, 9-8) with 18 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the floor. J.T. Terrell chipped in 16 points in the loss.

Although Washington limited the visitors to 35.7 percent shooting from the floor in the first half and made 40.6 percent of its field goal attempts, the game went into halftime tied up at 28. Terrell tallied 12 of his points in the opening 20 minutes as USC scored 10 points off of turnovers.

The Huskies dominated on the glass after the break as they held a 25-13 edge in rebounds to maximize their total of possessions. Although Washington made only 31 percent of its attempts from the field in the second half, it managed to pull away by sinking 17-of-18 at the charity stripe.

The reserves played a big role in the win as Washington's bench outscored its counterpart, 23-4.
