Recap: Boise State vs. Fresno State

Boise, ID (Sports Network) - Derrick Marks scored 30 points for the Boise State Broncos who defeated their former Western Athletic Conference foes the Fresno State Bulldogs, 74-67, in a Mountain West Conference matchup at Taco Bell Arena.

Marks shot 9-of-14 from the field and a perfect 12-of-12 at the free-throw line for Boise State (14-4, 2-2 MWC), which ended a two-game slide. Anthony Drmic added 23 points, knocking down 5-of-8 from 3-point range, while Ryan Watkins recorded an impressive double-double with 10 points and a game-high 18 rebounds.

Allen Huddleston scored 20 points and handed out five assists off the bench for Fresno State (7-11, 1-4), which has lost four of its last five outings. Tyler Johnson scored 16 points and Marvelle Harris added 10.

The Broncos took a 31-26 lead into halftime after scoring 11 second-chance points off eight offensive rebounds in the first half.

In the second half Boise State outscored Fresno State 43-41, outrebounding the Bulldogs 18-10.

The Broncos took advantage of every shot at the charity stripe, shooting a perfect 26-of-26 as they set a new school and conference record for accuracy at the charity stripe. The Bulldogs were 13-of-17 at the line.
