Recap: Denver vs. Colorado State

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Colton Iverson's 16-point, 13-rebound double- double powered the Colorado State Rams to a 60-53 victory over the in-state rival Denver Pioneers at Magness Arena.

Dorian Green also scored 16 points for Colorado State (3-0) while Wes Eikmeier added 13. Pierce Hurnung collected 11 rebounds.

Chase Hallam scored a game-high 19 points and Royce O'Neale had 16 for Denver (2-2).

In the first half Colorado State shot at a 41.7 percent clip and held Denver to just a 7-of-30 showing from the floor to earn a 28-20 lead at the break.

The Rams were consistent and hit on 41.4 percent of their shots after halftime to earn the rivalry win.

The win was the 92nd versus Denver for the Rams, which is the most they have against any opponent.
