Northridge, CA (Sports Network) - D.J. Seeley poured in a career-high 37 points to lead the Cal State Fullerton Titans to a 105-86 decision over the Cal State Northridge Matadors in a Big West Conference shootout at The Matadome.

Seeley produced his career night for the Titans (7-6, 1-1 Big West) by draining 10-of-17 attempts from the floor and 13-of-15 at the charity stripe. Kwame Vaughn also made his mark by netting 22 points and Sammy Yeager chimed in with 21 points and six rebounds. Fullerton has now won five of its last six outings.

Northridge (9-5, 0-2) was unable to keep up with its conference rival despite Stephen Maxwell's impressive double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds. Stephen Hicks tallied 20 points to go along with three steals while Trevone Williams and Josh Greene provided 10 points apiece in the Matadors' third consecutive setback.

Fullerton coasted to a 50-39 halftime lead after it drained 6-of-12 attempts from beyond the arc and forced the hosts into nine turnovers. The Matadors made 42.1 percent of their field goals in the opening 20 minutes, but trailed at the break after hitting just 1-of-4 from 3-point range.

Seeley was unstoppable after the intermission, as he lit it up with 27 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field including a 4-of-5 mark from beyond the arc. The Titans outscored Northridge, 19-9, at the free throw line in the second half to extend their lead before the final buzzer sounded.
