Recap: Cal State Fullerton vs. Pacific

Fullerton, CA (Sports Network) - Travis Fulton scored 19 points as the Pacific Tigers took down the Cal State Fullerton Titans, 64-55, in a Big West Conference battle at Titan Gym.

Colin Beatty added 11 points for Pacific (16-12, 10-5 Big West) which ended a two-game slide.

Kwame Vaughn had 16 points and Alex Harris chipped in 12 for Cal State Fullerton (14-14, 6-9) which had won back-to-back games entering play.

Fulton scored 12 points in the first half as the Tigers shot 55 percent from the floor. The Titans managed just four field goals on 16 percent shooting in the first period and trailed, 32-16, at the break.

In the second half the Tigers held off a rally from the Titans by shooting 44 percent from the floor while hitting 9-of-12 from the free-throw line.

Pacific had a 36-29 edge in rebounds and outscored Cal State Fullerton, 26-16, in the paint.
