Riverside, CA (Sports Network) - Keala King paced four teammates in double figures with 18 points as the Long Beach State 49ers outlasted the UC Riverside Highlanders in overtime, 91-82, in Big West Conference action at SRC Arena.

King shot 7-of-11 from the field and also chipped in six rebounds and three assists for LBSU (9-8, 5-1 Big West), which has won a season-high four straight games. James Ennis stuffed the stat sheet with 17 points, seven boards, five assists and five steals, while Tony Freeland (15 points, three steals) and Mike Caffey (13 points, seven assists) were also impressive.

For UCR (4-13, 1-4), Chris Patton scored a career-high 21 points on 8-of-11 from the field, Chris Harriel netted 15 points, and Taylor Johns scored 14 points. Austin Quick tallied 12 points and seven assists, but he also committed eight turnovers.

Both teams shot well from the floor in the first half, with UCR making 51.9 percent from the field and LBSU shooting 46.7 percent. The teams went into intermission knotted up at 34-34.

The 49ers led for the majority of the second half, and after a pair of Ennis free throws with 14 seconds to play in regulation, they held a 75-72 lead. However, the Highlanders answered on the other end with a Harriel 3-pointer to tie the game. King missed a trey for LBSU in the waning seconds and the game went to overtime.

LBSU started the extra session on a 10-0 run, which was too much for UCR to recover from.

The 49ers shot 17-of-21 from the foul line, while the Highlanders were only 8- of-15 from the stripe. LBSU also won the turnover battle, 17-10.
