Chris McNealy accounted for 15 points, Daman Starring 12 and Alex Young 11 points for the visitors.

The Aggies (14-15, 9-8) were paced by Corey Hawkins who tallied a game-high 21 points, but still the squad closed out the regular season with a second straight setback. J.T. Adenrele was credited with 18 points, five rebounds and four blocked shots, followed by Ryan Sypkens and Paolo Mancasola with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Davis took control in the first half by converting 6-of-7 shots behind the 3- point line and 15-of-17 at the charity stripe, not to mention holding the visitors to only 2-of-14 beyond the arc and 30 percent from the floor overall, en route to a 47-28 advantage at the break.

In the second half UCI responded by connecting on not just 55.0 percent from the floor, but also 7-of-14 on the perimeter in order to assume control and hold on for the three-point victory.

The Anteaters were outscored at the free-throw line, 23-11, but made up for it by turning the ball over just five times and maintaining a 47-35 edge on the glass.
