Recap: Wyoming vs. UC Santa Barbara

Laramie, WY (Sports Network) - Leonard Washington posted a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds as the Wyoming Cowboys remained undefeated with a 56-40 win over the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos at Arena-Auditorium.

Luke Martinez added 14 points and collected four steals for Wyoming (12-0).

Alan Williams had a double-double of his own with 16 points and 10 rebounds for UC Santa Barbara (4-7). Kyle Boswell chipped in 13 points off the bench.

Wyoming hit on just 9-of-25 field goal attempts in the first half and UC Santa Barbara kept pace by connecting on 9-of-19. The Cowboys held a slim 24-23 lead at the break. Williams scored 10 of his points in the opening period.

Washington scored 12 of his game-high point total in the second half while the Gauchos shot at just a 25.0 percent clip to give the Cowboys the victory.

UC Santa Barbara had twice as many turnovers (16) as Wyoming (8).
