Recap: Denver vs. Seattle

Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Chris Udofia netted 23 points as the Denver Pioneers defeated the Seattle Redhawks, 72-55, in a Western Athletic Conference matchup at the Magness Arena.

Udofia was 10-of-14 from the floor and 3-of-4 from 3-point range for the Pioneers (14-8, 10-2 WAC) as they won their third in a row and 10th in the last 11 games. Jalen Love added 11 points and Chase Hallam managed to tally 10.

Coming off the bench for Seattle (7-15, 2-10), Luiz Bidart led the squad with 14 points. Bidart was 4-of-5 from the field including 3-of-3 from 3-point range. Clarence Trent contributed 10 points as the Redhawks lost their second in a row and fifth in the last six games.

Despite going 2-of-11 from three-point range, the Pioneers still shot 53.6 percent from the field in the first half to take a 34-23 lead into the break.

Although the Redhawks shot 58.8 percent from the floor in the second half, they were still outscored, 38-32, as Denver away for the win.

Seattle shot at a high efficiency, making 55.6 percent of its shots from the floor but the squad turned the ball over 26 times which led to 31 points for the opportunistic Pioneers.
