Recap: Idaho vs. Montana

Moscow, ID (Sports Network) - Kareem Jamar scored 17 points and collected seven rebounds to lead the Montana Grizzlies to a 66-63 win over the Idaho Vandals at Memorial Gym.

Mathias Ward was also in double figures with 16 points for Montana (2-1).

Stephen Madison paced Idaho (0-2) with 22 points and eight rebounds. Kyle Barone added 19 points and Mike McChristian chipped in 10.

It was the Vandals who led at halftime, 34-30, after shooting an even 50.0 percent from the floor. Montana shot just 40.9 percent but kept it close with a 12-3 edge in points from 3-point range.

The roles reversed in the second half with Montana heating up to 53.8 percent shooting while Idaho connected on just 34.5 percent of its shots after the break.

Montana was able to overcome a game-high 15 turnovers to earn the win.
