Recap: Louisiana Tech vs. TX-San Antonio

Ruston, LA (Sports Network) - Chris Anderson and Cordarius Johnson each scored 11 points as the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs made easy work of the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners, 74-49, in a Western Athletic Conference tilt at the Thomas Assembly Center.

Raheem Appleby and Jaron Johnson netted 10 points apiece for Louisiana Tech (20-3, 11-0 WAC), which has won 12 straight games and remains alone on top of the WAC standings. Kenneth Smith was scoreless on the night but dished out nine assists.

Kannon Burrage led all scorers with 15 points for UTSA (5-17, 1-11), which has lost four in a row and 11 of 12. Michael Hale III scored 11 points for the Roadrunners, who shot less than 30 percent from the field.

Louisiana Tech was far from its best in the first half, making 11-of-36 from the floor (.306), but it held UTSA to only five first-half field goals as it took a 34-19 lead into intermission.

The Bulldogs' field goal percentage improved to .424 after the break as they cruised to the 25-point victory.

UTSA finished the game with more turnovers (18) than field goals (16).
