Recap: Evansville vs. Miami-Ohio

Evansville, IN (Sports Network) - Colt Ryan scored 18 points as the Evansville Purple Aces defeated the Miami-Ohio RedHawks by a convincing score of 94-68 at the Ford Center.

Ryan made 3-of-5 three-point attempts and dished out eight assists in the victory for Evansville (5-3). Ned Cox and D.J. Balentine each added 15 points while Troy Taylor tallied 11 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.

Allen Roberts was the high-scorer for the struggling RedHawks (3-4) with 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field. Jon Harris added 13 points while Reggie Johnson tallied 11.

Evansville led by 20 points (46-26) at halftime after shooting 61.3 percent from the field and making 8-of-11 three-point attempts.

In the second half, the Aces continued their stellar shooting performance with 65.4 percent accuracy while knocking down 6-of-7 three-point shots.

Miami shot well from the field with 49.0 percent but Evansville's 63.2 percent efficiency was too much to overcome.
