Recap: St Marys-CA vs. Eastern Wash

Moraga, CA (Sports Network) - Stephen Holt and Brad Waldow each scored 16 points as the Saint Mary's Gaels routed the Eastern Washington Eagles 85-66 at McKeon Pavilion.

Jordan Page added 12 points for Saint Mary's (3-0) while Matthew Dellavedova handed out eight assists.

Justin Crosgile scored 13 points and dished out five assists for Eastern Washington (0-3).

Saint Mary's led by just four points, 37-33, at the end of the first half. Both teams connected on 14-of-35 shots from the floor but a 6-1 edge from the free throw line favored the Gaels.

In the second half, Saint Mary's shot a scorching 64.3 percent from the floor, including a 5-of-9 effort from beyond the arc to pull away for the double-digit victory.

Saint Mary's had a 42-34 edge on the boards and a 48-22 advantage in points in the paint.
