Recap: Santa Clara vs. Eastern Wash

Santa Clara, CA (Sports Network) - Marc Trasolini scored 25 points to lead the Santa Barbara Broncos to a 89-74 victory over the Eastern Washington Eagles in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic action.

Trasolini was 9-of-16 from the floor while also recording five assists, four rebounds, and three blocks for the Broncos (5-0), who remain undefeated. He was joined in double-figure scoring by three other starters. Kevin Foster tallied 17 points, Raymond Cowels III scored 12, and Evan Roquemore put up 11 points while dishing out nine assists.

Collin Chiverton scored 19 points and made four three-pointers in the Eagles' (1-5) loss. Venky Jois added 11 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two blocks.

Santa Barbara led 47-30 at the break after shooting 56.2 percent from the field and knocking down nine three-pointers.

Eastern Washington shot 46.9 percent from the floor while making eight three- pointers in the second half as it outscored the Broncos, 44-42, but it was unable to overcome the first half deficit.

The Eagles were plagued by 17 turnovers, while the Broncos coughed the ball up just nine times.
