Recap: Idaho State vs. Wright State

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Miles Dixon came off the bench to score a game-high 16 points as the Wright State Raiders defeated the Idaho State Bengals, 60-45, as part of the Utah Thanksgiving Tournament at Huntsman Center.

Dixon shot 7-of-13 from the field for Wright State (4-1), although he was just 1-of-7 from the foul line. Matt Vest added 11 points for the Raiders.

Melvin Morgan was the only player to score in double figures for Idaho State (0-4), netting 14 points on 3-of-10 from the field. Morgan also dished out five assists, and Neveij Walters grabbed 10 rebounds.

Wright State shot 50 percent from the floor in the opening half to get up to a 31-23 advantage at intermission. Idaho State shot just 38.5 percent in the half, but it was able to keep the game close by going 10-of-12 from the foul line.

The Raiders' shooting percentage slipped to 43.5 percent in the second half, but they led by as many as 22 after halftime.

Wright State held on to win despite shooting just 9-of-23 from the free throw stripe. It managed to outscore Idaho State in the paint, 34-6.
