Recap: San Francisco vs. Montana

San Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - Cole Dickerson scored 19 points and grabbed a career-high 20 rebounds as the San Francisco Dons defeated the Montana Grizzlies, 78-68, at War Memorial Gymnasium.

Tim Derksen added 18 points on 7-of-8 from the field for San Francisco (4-1), while De'End Parker netted 16 points and Cody Doolin chipped in 14 points and seven assists.

For Montana (3-3), Kareem Jamar tallied a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Jordan Gregory and Mike Weisner contributed to a strong bench effort for the Grizzlies, scoring 14 and 12, respectively.

San Francisco shot 50 percent from the floor in the first half, while Montana made just 33.3 percent of its field goal attempts, as the Dons got out to a 30-24 halftime lead.

The Grizzlies managed to shrink their deficit to five points on a few occasions in the second half, but the Dons never surrendered their lead after intermission.

San Francisco won the rebounding battle, 42-33.
