The Panthers came roaring back and Brown made a jumper to give them to lead once again with 7:59 left in regulation. White answered with a make from 3-point range to put the Mocs back on top, but the visitors refused to go away. Wallace knocked down a shot from beyond the arc with 31 seconds on the game clock to narrow UTC's advantage to 62-61. The Mocs sealed the win by converting 6-of-6 at the charity stripe and holding High Point scoreless the rest of the way.
The Panthers held a 45-32 edge in the rebounding battle, but it was not enough to overcome their 18 turnovers and seven misses at the free throw line. UTC won despite a poor 2-of-21 shooting performance from beyond the arc.Game Notes
