Recap: North Dakota vs. Bowling Green

Grand Forks, ND (Sports Network) - Jamal Webb scored 12 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with under a minute remaining, to help lift North Dakota to a 56-53 victory over the Bowling Green Falcons in a non-conference showdown at the Sioux Center.

Troy Huff came off the bench to tally a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds for North Dakota (3-8), which has won back-to-back games for the first time all season.

Jordon Crawford led the way for Bowling Green (5-7) with 14 points, while A'uston Calhoun tallied 12 points and eight boards and Richaun Holmes chipped in 10 points.

Neither team shot greater than 41 percent from the field in the first half, but North Dakota went into halftime with a 29-23 advantage by connecting on three 3-pointers in the frame. Bowling Green went just 1-of-7 from beyond the arc in the opening 20 minutes.

Although North Dakota led by as many as nine in the second half, the Falcons climbed their way back in it, and after a 3-point play by Holmes with a minute remaining, Bowling Green led by two, 53-51, but Webb knocked down the game- winning trey on the following possession. North Dakota added two free throws by Huff, and a 3-point attempt from Crawford in the final seconds did not fall.

North Dakota dominated on the glass, outrebounding Bowling Green by a 42-25 margin.
