Recap: Portland State vs. North Dakota

Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Troy Huff scored 18 points as North Dakota captured a 74-66 victory over the Portland State Vikings in Big Sky Conference play at the Stott Center.

Aaron Anderson added 16 points, Jamal Webb tacked on 11 and Shane Benton contributed 10 for North Dakota (13-15, 10-8 Big Sky) which had lost two of its last three games.

Aaron Moore hung up a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds, Michael Harthun added 13 [points, Lateef McMullan chipped in 12 points and Renado Parker registered 10 points for Portland State (8-17, 5-12) which had a three- game winning streak snapped.

Both teams shot below 40 percent from the field in the first half. However North Dakota hit four shots from beyond the arc while Portland State missed all three of its attempts from long distance. North Dakota led 28-25 at the break.

In the second half North Dakota shot 56 percent from the field and knocked in 15-of-20 shots from the free-throw line to pull away for the win.

North Dakota forced 18 turnovers and had an 18-8 edge in points off takeaways.
