Recap: Portland vs. Portland State

Portland, OR (Sports Network) - Tanner Riley scored 23 points off the bench to lead the Portland Pilots to an 81-60 rout of the cross-town rival Portland State Vikings at the Chiles Center.

Kevin Bailey added 14 points and Ryan Nicholas had 10 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double for Portland (2-2).

Dre Winston put in 13 points to pace Portland State (1-3). Michael Harthun added 11 points and Renado Parker chipped in 10.

Portland came out firing in the first half and hit on 71.0 percent of its field goals including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc to take a 51-30 lead at the break.

Despite cooling down to 31.0 percent shooting in the second half, the Pilots had built enough of a lead in the first half to hold off the Vikings.

The Pilots had a 40-30 edge on the boards and forced 15 Portland State turnovers.
