Recap: Sacramento St vs. Weber State

Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - Davion Berry scored a game-high 22 points as the Weber State Wildcats coasted to a 70-55 victory over the Sacramento State Hornets in a Big Sky Conference clash at the Nest.

Scott Bamforth added 14 points and Joel Bolomboy chipped in 11 points and seven rebounds off the bench for Weber State (21-5, 15-2 Big Sky) which has won eight straight contests.

Konner Veteto and Dylan Garrity each had 12 points with Garrity adding eight assists for Sacramento State (13-13, 7-10) which has lost three of its last four.

Both teams shot right around 40 percent from the floor in the first half. Weber State was able to take a 32-25 lead at halftime by outscoring Sacramento State, 18-3, from beyond the arc.

After the break the Wildcats heated up to 50 percent shooting while hitting five shots from 3-point range. The Hornets couldn't keep up as they cooled to 39.3 percent from the field.

The two teams combined for just 15 turnovers. Weber State had a 37-28 edge in rebounds.
