Recap: Loyola-Chicago vs. Cleveland State

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Jordan Hicks netted a career-best 26 points to lead the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers to an 87-60 win over the Cleveland State Vikings at Gentile Arena to close out Horizon League regular season action.

Christian Thomas made 8-of-12 from the stripe and scored 19 points for Loyola (15-15, 5-11 Horizon), which had lost its previous three contests. Jeff White added 13 points and six assists.

Bryn Forbes led Cleveland State (14-17, 5-11) with 15 points. Charlie Lee and Devon Long had 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Loyola shot 14-of-24 from the field in the first half while holding Cleveland State to 2-of-13 from long distance. Both teams had just three turnovers at halftime as Loyola led, 37-26.

The Ramblers scored the first five points of the second half and led by double figures throughout after shooting 60.7 percent from the floor.

With the win, Loyola completed a season sweep of the Vikings after being swept a season ago.
