Recap: Green Bay vs. Valparaiso

Green Bay, WI (Sports Network) - Matt Kenney shot 7-of-7 from the floor, including 6-of-6 from 3-point range, en route to 21 points to lead the Valparaiso Crusaders to a 75-56 win over the Green Bay Phoenix in a Horizon League tilt at the Resch Center.

Bobby Capobianco added 16 points off the bench for Valparaiso (24-7, 13-3 Horizon), which had already clinched its second straight regular season title in the Horizon League.

Alec Brown led Green Bay (16-14, 10-6) with 15 points. Keifer Sykes had 14 points as the Phoenix finish the regular season having lost two of their last three games.

Valpo shot 43.5 percent in the first half and outrebounded Green Bay, 19-16, as it went into intermission with a 29-20 edge.

Both teams shot better than 70 percent from the field in the second half. Valpo hit 7-of-9 from 3-point range in the period as they were able to keep the Phoenix from getting to within striking distance.

The Crusaders were victorious despite being outrebounded, 25-23.
