Recap: Milwaukee vs. Davidson

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - J Aaron put in 23 points to lead the Milwaukee Panthers to a 73-68 win over the Davidson Wildcats at the Klotsche Center.

Demetrius Harris netted 17 points and Kyle Klem chipped in 11 off the bench for Milwaukee (2-1). Thierno Niang led the Panthers on the glass with 12 rebounds.

JP Kuhlman led Davidson (1-2) with 16 points while De'Mon Brooks finished with a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds. Tyler Kalinoski also got into double figures with 14 points off the bench.

Davidson held a slim 31-30 lead at the end of the first half after hitting on 12-of-34 shot attempts from the floor. Milwaukee connected on only 7-of-23 shots from the field but kept pace by outscoring the Wildcats 13-5 from the free throw line.

In the second half the Panthers heated up to 53.8 percent shooting and went 6- of-6 from the charity stripe in the final two minutes to secure the win.

Despite the loss Davidson was the better team on the glass with 41 rebounds to 35 from Milwaukee.
