Recap: Ark-Little Rock vs. Milwaukee

Little Rock, AR (Sports Network) - Will Neighbour led all scorers with a game- high 17 points, leading the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans to a 59-43 victory over the Milwaukee Panthers in the Hoops for Hope Classic at the Jack Stephens Center.

Neighbour was 8-of-15 from the floor overall and had 6 rebounds. The Trojans (2-2) also received a strong performance from Leroy Isler, who turned in 13 points and 5 boards.

Demetrius Harris led the way for Milwaukee (2-2) with 15 points and 5 rebounds in defeat. Jordan Aaron and Austin Arians chipped in 13 points a piece.

UALR held the Panthers scoreless for the first six minutes of the opening half, but Milwaukee closed the gap late and trailed by just two points at the break, 25-23.

The Trojans ran past Milwaukee in the second half, outscoring the visitors 34-20. UALR made good on 56.0 percent of its field goal attempts in the period, compared to a mere 7-of-28 (.250) for the opposition.

UALR forced 19 turnovers and knocked down 24-of-47 from the floor, while limiting the Panthers to a meager 5-of-22 effort from beyond the arc.
