Recap: Valparaiso vs. Milwaukee

Valparaiso, IN (Sports Network) - Will Bogan and Ben Boggs each scored 12 points as the Valparaiso Crusaders rolled over the Milwaukee Panthers, 71-40, in Horizon League action at the ARC.

Ryan Broekhoff added 11 points and seven rebounds for Valparaiso (17-6, 7-2 Horizon) which has won seven of its last eight outings.

Jordan Aaron scored a game-high 17 points off the bench as the only player in double figures for Milwaukee (5-18, 1-8) which has lost five straight.

The Crusaders rolled out to a 37-21 lead at halftime by shooting 53.8 percent from the field while drilling 6-of-12 shots from beyond the arc. Milwaukee lagged behind by shooting just 27.3 percent.

In the second half the Crusaders improved to 59.1 percent shooting while Milwaukee was once again limited to 27.3 percent. The Crusaders led by as many as 36 points in the second half as they coasted to victory.

Valparaiso outscored the Panthers 30-16 in the paint and 33-6 from beyond the arc.
