Recap: Wright State vs. Youngstown St

Dayton, OH (Sports Network) - Jerran Young led all scorers with 14 points as the Wright State Raiders made easy work of the Youngstown State Penguins at the Nutter Center, 72-45, in the Horizon League regular season finale for both teams.

Matt Vest added 11 points for Wright State (19-11, 10-6 Horizon), which bounced back nicely after two straight losses. The home team received scoring contributions from 11 different players.

For YSU (16-14, 7-9), Damian Eargle was the lone player to net in double figures with 11 points. The Penguins close out the regular season with losses in three of their last four games.

Wright State shot a lofty 61.5 percent from the field in the first half to get out to a comfortable 39-19 lead at the break. YSU shot just 30 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes and committed 14 turnovers.

The Raiders continued their hot field goal shooting after intermission (.500) and their lead was never in question.

Wright State scored 19 points off turnovers, while YSU managed just three.
