Recap: Columbia vs. Dartmouth

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Tyler Melville scored 15 points, two of which came in the final minute to help lift the Dartmouth Big Green to a 60-57 win over the Columbia Lions in Ivy League play at Levien Gym.

Connor Boehm scored a game-high 20 points and pulled down seven rebounds for the Big Green (6-13, 2-3 Ivy) as they won for the second time in as many games and snapped a 24-game road losing streak in Ivy League play as well. Alex Mitola tacked on 17 points as he converted 4-of-5 shots behind the 3- point line for the visitors.

The Lions (9-10, 1-4) were paced by Mark Cisco who posted 16 points and pulled down a game-high nine rebounds, but still the squad lost for the fifth time in six games.

Columbia led by a basket in the first half, but the team ended up missing all 11 chances from 3-point range in the period, leaving the Lions with a 29-26 deficit at the break.

In the second half Dartmouth began to pull away, leading by as many as 11 points at the 15:34 mark, but the Lions refused to give up and even led by two, 54-52, on a dunk by John Daniels with 2:28 remaining. However, the hosts were held to just three points the rest of the way.

In a game that featured six ties and 24 lead changes, Columbia shot just 10- of-17 at the free-throw line and 3-of-20 beyond the arc.

Columbia had been slated to host Harvard on Saturday, but that meeting has been pushed back until Sunday afternoon due to the winter weather conditions in New York.
