Recap: Canisius vs. Siena

Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - Isaac Sosa scored 18 points to lead the Canisius Golden Griffins to a 76-44 rout of the Siena Saints in a MAAC matchup at the Koessler Center.

Chris Manhertz chipped in with 12 points and 11 rebounds as Jordan Heath and Alshwan Hymes each scored 11 points. Canisius (12-7, 5-3 MAAC) has now won back-to-back games after dropping its previous two.

Rich Audu led Siena (4-15, 2-6) with 11 points while O.D. Anosike pulled down nine boards.

Siena managed just 28 percent from the floor in the opening period and missed all three of its 3-point attempts while Canisius made six outside shots. The Golden Griffins led 42-19 at intermission.

The result of this one was never in doubt as Canisius continued to pour it on in the second half, outscoring Siena by 11.

Despite the loss, Siena leads the all-time series, 51-38.
