Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Erik Etherly finished with 24 points, seven rebounds, and five blocks as the Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds picked up a 74-58 decision over the Saint Peter's Peacocks in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tilt at Reitz Arena.

Dylon Cormier added 18 points on 5-of-13 shooting from the floor for Loyola (11-5. 3-1 MAAC), which received 17 points from Robert Olson.

Yvon Raymond paced the Peacocks (6-8, 1-3) with 16 points. Darius Conley chipped in 11 points and Chris Burke grabbed nine rebounds for Saint Peter's, which lost for the second time in three outings.

The Greyhound managed to build a double-digit advantage on the scoreboard less than six minutes after tip-off with the help of an early 8-0 run. Loyola took a 39-26 lead into halftime after it knocked down 59.1 percent of its field goal attempts and 9-of-11 at the charity stripe. The Peacocks went 7-of-28 from the floor in the opening 20 minutes.

Saint Peter's improved to hit on 44.8 percent of its attempts from the field after the break, but the Greyhounds submitted another 9-of-11 performance at the free throw line to slightly extend their lead and collect their second win in a row.

Despite the loss, the Peacocks held a 38-34 edge in the rebounding battle.
