Recap: Manhattan vs. Siena

Riverdale, NY (Sports Network) - Rhamel Brown came off the bench to score a career-high 21 points as the Manhattan Jaspers defeated the Siena Saints, 75-55, in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action at Draddy Gymnasium.

Brown shot 9-of-12 from the field for Manhattan (3-5, 1-1 MAAC), which had lost its previous two games. RaShawn Stores tallied 12 points and six assists, Emmy Andujar had 11 points and seven rebounds, and Michael Alvarado scored 10 points.

For Siena (2-9, 0-2), Rakeem Brookins scored 19 points, and O.D. Anosike recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

The Jaspers shot 45.2 percent from the floor in the first half and took a 38-31 lead into intermission. The Saints converted on less than 35 percent of their field goal attempts in the opening frame.

Siena was down just nine, 53-44, with under 10 minutes to play in the game, but Manhattan finished on a 22-11 run down the stretch to pull away.

The Jaspers forced 16 Saints' turnovers, which turned into 18 points.
