Recap: Buffalo vs. Niagara

Buffalo, NY (Sports Network) - Will Regan scored a career-high 26 points to lead the Buffalo Bulls to a 77-67 home win over the Niagara Purple Eagles at Alumni Arena.

Regan, whose previous career-high was just 15, shot 8-of-11 from the floor and made all seven of his free throws to lead the Bulls (4-7), who won consecutive games for the first time this season. Jarod Oldham chipped in 18 points and seven assists while leading scorer Javon McCrea had just three points and spent a lot of time on the bench with foul trouble.

Juan'ya Green did everything he could to keep Niagara (3-6) competitive, netting 23 points on 8-of-16 from the field. Antoine Mason added 18 points and seven boards, while T.J. Cline scored 10 points off the bench.

Buffalo never trailed in the first half and led 37-28 at intermission. The Bulls held Niagara to 33 percent from the floor, including 1-of-9 from behind the arc in the opening period.

Green scored 17 of his 23 points in the second half and led the Purple Eagles' comeback attempt. Down by as little as two points with 10:18 remaining, they were never able to get over the hump as Tony Watson hit consecutive three-pointers for the Bulls to gain the momentum back.

Despite the loss, Niagara still owns the all-time series over Buffalo, winning 58 of 89 matchups.
