Recap: UNLV vs. Jacksonville St

Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - Mike Moser scored 19 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as 18th-ranked UNLV ran past Jacksonville State, 77-58, as part of the Global Sports Classic at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Justin Hawkins added 16 points for the Runnin' Rebels (2-0), who also received 12 points from Anthony Bennett and 11 from Anthony Marshall and Katin Reinhardt.

Ronnie Boggs scored 16 and had nine rebounds to pace the Gamecocks (3-1), who shot 38.9 percent from the field.

A layup from Brian Williams had the Gamecocks within 16-11 with eight minutes left in the first half, but UNLV responded with an ensuing 18-3 burst that lasted into the second half. Bennett's tip-in capped the surge.

UNLV was ahead by double digits the remainder of the contest.
