Recap: Ball State vs. Wofford

Muncie, IN (Sports Network) - Majok Majok scored a game-high 17 points as the Ball State Cardinals held off the Wofford Terriers, 66-61, at Worthen Arena.

Jauwan Scaife tallied 14 points, Jesse Berry netted 12, and Michael Ramey chipped in 11 for the Cardinals (2-0).

For Wofford (1-2), Lee Skinner recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 boards. Spencer Collins scored 14 points and Karl Cochran added 10 points, but the two combined to shoot just 6-of-27 from the field.

Neither team shot greater than 39 percent from the floor in the opening frame. Wofford took a 28-26 lead into intermission.

Wofford led by six, 45-39, with under 10 minutes to play in the second half, but Ball State ripped off a 13-2 run over the next three minutes to take a 52-47 lead. The Terriers would get the game to one possession a few times down the stretch but they could never regain the lead.

Wofford was plagued by a game-high 17 turnovers.
