Recap: Miami-Ohio vs. Ohio

Oxford, OH (Sports Network) - Ivo Baltic recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds as the Ohio Bobcats defeated the Miami-Ohio RedHawks, 74-62, in Mid-American Conference play at Millett Hall.

D.J.Cooper had 17 points, nine assists and seven rebounds for Ohio (14-5, 5-0 MAC). Nick Kellogg scored 15 points as Ohio won its sixth consecutive game.

For the RedHawks (7-10, 2-3), Will Felder recorded a double-double scoring 19 points to go with 10 rebounds. Allen Roberts scored 14 points and Geovonie McKnight scored 11 points off the bench, as Miami lost its second straight game.

Ohio shot 56.5 percent from the floor including 6-of-11 from 3-point range, while Miami was held to a mere 2-of-9 from long-range, en route to a 36-29 Bobcats advantage at the break.

Miami continued to struggle shooting, making only 30.3 percent from the floor and 1-of-8 from beyond the arc in the second half. Ohio knocked down 6-of-14 from long-range in the final period, leading to the 12-point victory.

Ohio was 12-of-25 from long range while limiting the RedHawks to a mere 3- of-17 from beyond the arc on the night.
