Recap: Tenn Tech vs. Austin Peay

Cookeville, TN (Sports Network) - Jud Dillard recorded a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds for the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles who defeated the Austin Peay Governors, 70-52, in an Ohio Valley Conference clash at the Eblen Center.

Dillard also dished out a game-high eight assists for the Golden Eagles (8-12, 2-6 OVC), who broke out of a three-game losing streak. Dennis Ogbe and Anthony Morse scored 10 points each while Ogbe grabbed eight rebounds and Morse gathered six.

Anthony Campbell was 5-of-8 from the field for 14 points for the Governors (5-17, 1-7), who have lost five in a row. Travis Betran also scored 14 points while Will Triggs added 13 on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor.

Tennessee Tech shot 58.1 percent from the field in the first half and carried a huge 44-23 lead into halftime.

The Eagles shooting cooled to 37.5 percent from the floor in the second half but they were able to hold on for the win in part because of a 12-3 edge from beyond the arc.

Tennessee Tech's offense assisted on 18 of its 27 made field goals while the team also earned a 36-27 rebounding advantage.
