Recap: Alaska-Anchorage vs. Belmont

Anchorage, AK (Sports Network) - Trevor Noack scored 15 points as the Belmont Bruins took down the Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves as part of the Great Alaska Shootout at Sullivan Arena.

Belmont (4-0) also got 14 points from Ian Clark to advance to the tournament semifinals. J.J. Mann added 13 points and collected five steals.

Mike MacKelvie paced UAA (4-1) with 14 points while Liam Gibcus added 13 and Teancum Stafford tacked up 11,

Belmont led 41-31 at the end of the first half by shooting an even 50.0 percent from the floor including a 4-of-10 effort from 3-point range.

In the second half the Bruins shot just 38.7 percent but that out paced UAA which connected on only 34.6 percent of its field goal attempts.

Belmont will face Northeastern on Friday in the tournament semifinals.
